Meet the Ingredient

Ivy gourd, known in Thailand as tamlueng (ตำลึง, pronounced tam-lu-ang), is a leafy climbing vine that curls around neighbouring plants using fine, slender tendrils. Its softly lobed leaves grow beside delicate white flowers and small green fruits that turn a vivid scarlet red as they ripen.

We chose ivy gourd alongside five other wildcrafted botanicals to create a light, refreshing facial mist that instantly hydrates, helps soothe dryness and visible redness, and leaves skin feeling soft, calm and comfortable. It also helps bring back a fresh, healthy glow, making it an easy everyday step whenever your skin feels dry, dull or in need of a quick refresh.

Verified by Modern Science

Ivy gourd leaves contain natural plant compounds such as flavonoids and hydroxycinnamic acids. Laboratory studies show these compounds have antioxidant activity, which helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Our mist uses a gentle ivy gourd leaf distillate, so you can enjoy these benefits in a light, everyday hydrating mist.

Did You Know?

Tender ivy gourd leaves and shoots are a familiar part of everyday Thai cooking. They’re commonly served blanched with nam phrik, cooked in kaeng liang, added to minced-pork soup known as tom tamlueng, or stir-fried as a leafy vegetable. Young green fruits are also edible, while ripe fruits turn a striking scarlet red.

In our skincare, we transform the leaves into a certified-organic distillate that works alongside five other wilfcrafted botanicals in a fine mist for refreshing and hydrating sensitive skin.
