Meet the Ingredient

Pomegranate, known in Thailand as thapthim (pronounced tup-tim), is recognised by its firm red skin and hundreds of glossy, jewel-like seeds filled with sweet, gently tart juice. Beyond its vibrant colour and flavour, the fruit is naturally rich in protective plant compounds that make it especially valuable in care for dull or ageing skin.

We use organic pomegranate fruit extract in our Centella Mangosteen Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser, where it works alongside centella and mangosteen to gently wash away excess oil, impurities and daily buildup. Its antioxidant properties helps support a fresh, healthy complexion while the gentle formula leaves dry, oily and sensitive skin feeling clean, soft and comfortable rather than tight or stripped of moisture.

Verified by Modern Science

Pomegranate is naturally rich in punicalagins, ellagic acid, anthocyanins and other polyphenols with strong antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity. These compounds may help calm visible irritation and protect collagen from damage that can contribute to dullness, loss of firmness and early signs of ageing, helping to maintain smooth, supple and radiantskin.

Did You Know?

Pomegranate has been cultivated for thousands of years across regions stretching from ancient Persia through the Middle East and South Asia. Its abundance of ruby-red seeds made the fruit a long-standing symbol of prosperity and abundance, while its fruit, peel and juice became part of traditional food and personal-care preparations across many cultures.

That long history of valuing the whole fruit is part of what makes pomegranate such a natural fit for our own skincare today. We pair it with Thai-grown centella and mangosteen in our Antioxidant Cleanser, bringing together ingredients from different traditions in one gentle daily ritual for clean, fresh and radiant skin.
