Meet the Ingredient

Lavender is recognised by its slender silver-green leaves, soft purple flowers and clean floral-herbal scent. Its gentle aroma has made lavender a familiar part of bathing, fragrance and personal care for generations.

We use lavender across several of our hair, cleansing and body rituals. In our Hair Kindness Shampoo, it works alongside bergamot and turmeric to gently cleanse the scalp and hair while leaving strands feeling fresh, soft and comfortable. Our Mung Bean Cleansing Bar pairs lavender with eucalyptus and finely milled mung bean for a refreshing face-and-body cleanse that helps lift away excess oil and surface buildup while gently smoothing the skin. You’ll also find lavender in our Rosemary Lavender and Orange Uplifting Deodorant, where its soft floral scent complements rosemary and orange for everyday freshness, and in our Rosemary, Lavender & Eucalyptus Mineral Bath Salts, where it helps create a calming aromatic soak that leaves the body feeling relaxed and the skin soft and refreshed.

Verified by Modern Science

Lavender is naturally rich in linalool and linalyl acetate and has shown antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal activity in research. These properties may help calm visible irritation, keep the scalp and skin feeling fresh, clean and comfortably healthy.

Did You Know?

Lavender has been used around the Mediterranean for centuries in bathing, scented water, soaps and traditional personal care. Its name is often linked to the Latin lavare, meaning “to wash”, reflecting how closely the herb became associated with cleanliness and fragrant bathing rituals.

That long history of using lavender for both scent and care is why it fits so naturally into our own rituals today. Paired with herbs and oils rooted in Thai traditions, lavender brings a softer, more calming character to hair washing, cleansing, underarm care and bathing.
