Meet the Ingredient

Himalayan pink salt is a naturally mineral-rich rock salt recognised by its soft pink colour, which comes from trace minerals such as iron. Formed from ancient salt deposits, it has a slightly coarser texture than many sea salts and brings a naturally earthy character to bathing and body-care rituals.

We use Himalayan pink salt in our Fleur de Sel Rose & Himalayan Calming Bath Salts, where it dissolves into warm water alongside fleur de sel, rose and aromatic oils. The mineral-rich soak helps soften rough, dry skin and creates a comforting bath ritual that leaves the body feeling refreshed, relaxed and well cared for.

Verified by Modern Science

Himalayan pink salt is made primarily of sodium chloride and also contains small amounts of naturally occurring minerals. In bath and body care, its crystals can help gently remove dry surface buildup and leave rough skin feeling smoother and softer.

When dissolved in warm water, mineral salts also help create a cleansing, refreshing soak for the skin. In our bath salts, Himalayan pink salt works alongside fleur de sel and other mineral salts to support softer-feeling skin while making the bath feel more restorative and comforting.

Did You Know?

Himalayan pink salt comes from ancient salt deposits in the Punjab region of Pakistan, where it has been mined for generations. Its naturally pink colour is not added; it comes from small amounts of minerals present within the salt itself.

Today, that same mineral-rich salt is used far beyond the kitchen. In our bath ritual, we pair it with fleur de sel and rose to create a warm, soothing soak that brings together mineral care and the simple comfort of traditional bathing.
