Meet the Ingredient

Damask rose, known in Thai as kularp damat (pronounced koo-lahp da-mat), is loved for its soft pink petals and rich, unmistakable floral scent. When the petals are distilled, they produce a delicate rose water that feels light and refreshing on the skin.

We use Damask rose in our Radiance Mist, where it works alongside aloe vera, chrysanthemum and goji berry to help replenish hydration, soothe dryness and visible redness, and revive skin that looks dull or tired. Its light floral water leaves the complexion feeling fresh, soft and naturally radiant without any heavy or sticky finish.

Verified by Modern Science

Damask rose petals contain naturally occurring phenolic compounds and flavonoids with antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. It also has soothing anti-inflammatory properties, which may help calm visible redness and support skin that feels more comfortable and balanced.

Did You Know?

Damask rose has been cultivated for centuries across the Middle East, Central Asia and parts of Europe, where its petals were treasured for rose water, fragrance, food and traditional personal care. Rose water became especially valued as a simple way to refresh the face and bring comfort to dry skin.

That long history of gentle skin care is why Damask rose fits so naturally into our own facial rituals today. In our Radiance Mist, we pair it with herbs and plant extracts chosen to hydrate, soothe and bring back a fresh, healthy glow.
