Aloe vera, known in Thailand as wan hang chorakhe (pronounced wahn hahng jaw-ra-kay), is instantly recognisable by its thick green leaves filled with clear, cooling gel. In Thailand, it has long been a familiar household plant for soothing skin that feels hot, dry or uncomfortable, making it a natural fit for gentle everyday care.
