Meet the Ingredient

Mulberry leaf, known in Thailand as bai mon (pronounced bye morn), has a long connection with Thai rural life and the country’s silk-making tradition. Its soft green leaves have also been valued in traditional preparations and everyday plant-based care.

We use certified-organic mulberry leaf powder in our award-winning Kaffir Lime Turmeric & Rice Detoxifying Herbal Mask. Together, these ingredients help gently protect and soothe skin with its protective properties, restores skin's natural pH back to healthy levels, reduces acne and breakouts, and smooth the look of uneven skin and leave the complexion feeling clean, fresh and naturally radiant.

Mulberry leaves are naturally rich in flavonoids, polyphenols and other plant compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties can help calm visible irritation and protect the skin from damage that contributes to dryness, dullness and early signs of ageing.

Did You Know?

Mulberry leaves have played an important role in Thai silk-making for generations because they are the main food source for silkworms. Healthy leaves help silkworms grow and form the cocoons that are later transformed into natural Thai silk, making mulberry cultivation an important part of the craft from the very beginning.

That same humble leaf also has a place in our skincare rituals. We use organic mulberry leaf in our herbal mask to help refresh dull skin and support a clearer, healthier and more even complexion.
