Mangosteen has long been enjoyed across Southeast Asia for its delicate white fruit, but its thick purple rind has also attracted attention far beyond the kitchen. While the flesh is the part we eat, the rind contains the fruit’s highest concentration of naturally occurring xanthones and has a long history of use in traditional preparations.
That combination of a much-loved Thai fruit and a surprisingly valuable outer rind is part of what makes mangosteen so special to us. In our Antioxidant Cleanser, it joins centella and pomegranate in a gentle daily ritual designed to cleanse while keeping the skin feeling soft, calm and refreshed.
